Help Wanted
The bulk of activities on farm occur between April and Thanksgiving, and the busiest part from Victoria Day to Labour Day. While having full time workers for those time frames is ideal, I recognize it is not always feasible. If you are looking for flexible hours or part time work, get in touch and hopefully we can make it work.

Jobs Available
Farmers' Markets
Are you an early riser? Do you like like connecting with people? At farmers' markets you will be responsible for sales, food safety, and making attractive displays. The ideal candidate will have a G license, be able to lift at least 30lbs, and must pass the Lambton Food Handler Course.
FarmHand
Do you like being outside and connecting with plants and soil? Or do you just want a job where you can enjoy your podcasts and audiobooks? Farmhands get to experience the seasons firsthand. Spend your days, planting, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing vegetables. The ideal candidate is able to kneel, bend, and do moderate physical labour (be able to lift 30lbs).
ANd Everything Else
Are you handy? Or a good problem solver? I'm looking for someone who can do some odd jobs. Maybe you love mowing lawns. Or setting up irrigation, mulching or prepping beds for planting. There's always jobs to do on a farm. Answering e-mails, posting on social media, driving tractor, building greenhouses. These are just some of the jobs I can use help with.

About the Farm
I started Gwen's Garden Produce in 2005, at 16 years old. I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in horticulture. I have 20 years of farming experience. For the last two years I have been working at Firmly Rooted farm as their assistant Farm Manager and starting a plant seedling sale under Gwen's Garden Produce. This will be the first year of growing under totally organic conditions as I work towards organic certification.
